Ugh! I've been so busy! But anyway, Bourne Ultimatum kicked some major ass. No joke. Best movie ever made. And Matt Damon has the cutest face ever. Friday night some of my friends and I all went see it. And it was awesome. And on the way home, we like turned the music all the way up and it was awesome. But anyway, this movie was AWESOME. Here's wat I thought were the best parts...
Ok, if you haven't seen this movie, YOU NEED TO. Even you haven't seen the first and second. It's that good. Go tomorrow! -FLAILS- But FKLDJAS it's just so amazingly well-though-through and well-done and it's incredible. To start off, in this movie there's this little team (they're a branch of the CIA) an they have all this high-tech equipment. They use it to listen to any phone conversation anywhere and they can tap into any security camera in the world. AND I THINK IT'S JUST SO COOL. It's hard to explain, but if you've seen the movies you'd understand. They're doing it to try and find Bourne. And I think, This could be happening anywhere. Right now. And it's just amazing. Ok, Bourne was originally part of a test project, a training program for secret assassins. He's tranined to be invisible, to go anywhere and do what he needs to do. (usually kill someone) Anyway, it was a secret government operation called Treadstone. Well, in the first one Bourne was shot in the back and almost drowned. He woke and had amnesia and couldn't remember ANYTHING. So he was trying to find out who he is. Meanwhile, the people who trained him were trying to kill him. So he's on the run. Just some background info for ya.
But the assassins. SO COOL. They can go anywhere and have passports from every country. And they're just so stealthy (is that a word?) AND IT'S AMAZING. JFKLDAS. But so hard to explain. Now, my favorite parts:
- Bourne was in a bus terminal in London (where I really want to go to now) and he was trying to meet up with this journalist who had someone found out about his backstory. And, because Bourne was trying to figure out how this all started and who trained him, he wanted to know. So, he texted the guy to meet him in the terminal. And the government knew about the journalist, so they were following him too. And the whole time Bourne was like directing the guy where to go without being seen and how to lose the people tracking him, and it was just INCREDIBLE. Meanwhile there was an assassin behind one of those rotating billboards trying to kill Bourne and the journalist. And Bourne saw him and told the journalist, "You need to hide. Stay where you are." (b/c the guy was in some weird metal thing where no one could see him) But the journalist spazzed out when Bourne was trying to go kick the guy's ass and he ran out in the crowd and the assassin shot him. And the assassin got away. REALLY hard to explain and I did a bad job, but it was incredible.
- Bourne was in Tangiers (I won't go into way b/c it'll take forever) and he was with someone working for the government named Nikki, who had decided to help him instead of working for the government. The same assassin who shot the journalist was assigned to bomb the guy the journalist talked to (who Bourne wanted meet) so Bourne and Nikki were trying to stop him. They failed and somehow got separated. The assain was follwing Nikki and she was trying so hard to just be brave and keep moving through the crowd and I just loved her for that. Meanwhile Bourne was like running over the rooftops and through random people's apartments (they left their windows open and the apartments are SOOO close together) and he was trying to find the assassin. The assassin had caught up with Nikki in this one apartment and was about to kill her but Bourne jumped through the window and kicked some ass. And it was SOOO cute because Nikkie and Bourne kind of liked each other and they have some chemistry and I almost died. Then there was fight scene in which Bourne killed the assassin. It was awesome.
- THE ENDING WAS AMAZING. JFLJDSFSDF. I wanted to kiss the writers. Earlier, Bourne was being chased by members of the CIA. And he caused this one guy to crash and he lost his gun. So Bourne had the chance to shoot him. But he didn't. He didn't want to kill anymore. So at the end, he was on the edge of a building that bordered the East River. And the SAME guy had a chance to shoot HIM. So the tables were turned. And Bourne was like, "Look at what they make us give." and the guy just kind of paused as all these other cops arrived and Bourne turned and jumped in the river. While he jumped, the guy shot him. And Bourne landed in the river and wasn't moving. So then, you see Nikki in this cafe in Paris watching TV. She was hearing about the arrest of the guys who organized and ran the operation that trained Bourne. (the were busted by an organization member that turned on them). And then the news reporter goes, "The fate of David Webb (Bourne's real name, found out towards the end) is unknown. Sources say he was shot and fell into the East River." Meanwhile Nikki got this horrified look on her face b/c she was shocked/sad and it was like mind!fuck, because Bourne never dies, even though he's always trying to be killed, and the reporter says, "But after three days of searching, his body is yet to be found." AND OMFG OMFG OMFG I DIED. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT JUST BECAUSE BOURNE ALWAYS GETS AWAY AND IT WAS PERFECT. And Nikki gets this knowing smile on her face that is just so damn cute and the credit music starts playing and shows Bourne in the water, regaining consciousness and swimming away. IT WAS AWESOME. PERFECT. You have to see the movies to understand, BUT IT WAS JUST SOOOO PERFECT. I want to see it again SOOOO bad you have no idea.
I. LOVE. OUR. POOL. I still don't have pictures. :( But I was in it like all day today and yesterday. And I got sunburn on my face.
Volleyball tryouts are TOMORROW. -spazzes out- I'm so nervous. AND I have that meeting tomorrow. I haven't bothered looking for my record book and I haven't ridden my horse yet. I'm the BIGGEST procrastinator ever.
