State Time Trial
Saturday 05.15.04 [4:15 pm]

Alright just got back from Phoenix where I delivered a severe asskicking to the Junior 17-18 field. The Second place guy was a full minute and a half behind me. Pretty sweet, I'm totally stoked. Next week I'm going to go out to the Tucson Crit Series and I have to take it seriously so I can get my upgrade points and move up to the 2's. It's kinda a shame that I have to treat this training race as a race. It is because Stupid Don won't let me upgrade with only 21 points, even though I have been murdering everyone in the TT's and won Tumacacori. But whatever the 3's field will feel my wrath...

Being a super biker stud
Thursday 05.13.04 [6:10 pm]

So after reading my last post, which I know was kinda boring- just ask my brother, I'm sure your wondering what it is like to be a super cool biker stud in high school. Lucky for you I happen to be an expert on this subject... so I can answer your question.
First I have to get up in the morning to go to my early morning classes , which don't really count because it's too early to learn anything. So then by the time I am functioning (around 3rd or 4th period) I begin to notice all of these lovely curvatious ladies sending glances my way. I attempt to ignore them and concentrate on my studies (yeah right). So then the bell finally rings and I get to leave school and stop wasting my time.
I get home and immediatly start stripping. I go back to my room and after a few (OK... more than a few) glances in the mirror I begin to get dressed. My rides are awesome, but sometimes it is hard to concentrate with all of those women pulling over and giving me their numbers. Sometime I get so many that my jersey pockets overflow. Also I get so many people whistling at me and whatnot that it is pretty distracting.
Luckily I understand that it is not my fault I am so increadibly good looking and women cannot resist my beautiful legs and scrawny arms- it is just my destiny.

Alright, welcome to my live journal. Thought this would be a good way to give everybody out there a little insight into the my life as a student and amatur racer.
So I am now in my final 5 days of school and they can not pass by quick enough. I'm looking forward to this summer when I will be traveling up to Alpine, Az for some cooler weather riding and some high altitude training. I have an action packed summer planned with a stage race in Valdor, Canada; Fitchburg, Mass.; and Park City, Utah. But first things first, this weekend is the State Championship TT and I am totally ready to lay the smack down.
Today's training consisted of a couple hour ride just cruising around. Today was a little break in the heat with it only being in the low 90's.
