So I went back to work on friday because i called up and the phone center woman said that I worked, and then proceeded to rat off my whole weekend's schedule. Nice. However, she read off someone elses. So really, I have a 6 hour commute for nothing and i miss out on good, and rapidly dwindling instances of, charleston weekends. I did get to switch with someone, so i got in a good 11 hours or so. w0rd to that. So now I am back at school and I have a lot of shit to do for this week, like a book review and readings and a volleyball game and friendsday on wednesday, and it seems that time flies in charleston because even though these things dont take taht much time up, i dont have the time that I want to give up? Then i gotta work my REAL schedule on friday so I miss another weekend. great.
I got a new cell phone and it actually makes and receives calls. its quite impressive. I go to the cell phone store and the guy is like, "what are you looking for in a phone?" and im like, "Well, I know that its pretty complicated and not many phones can handle this, but I need one that does an excellent job, and apparently really difficult job, of making and receiving calls." (note: the primary purpose of a phone) He agreed. Like I really need to watch TV from my screen or take pictures and email them or check the time in tokyo.
I went to return 3 kegs from the past 2 weekends and lo and behold, as I walk in with 2 kegs in my hand and my roommate with 1 and the tapper (i just got mine in from ebay....wooooo), my professor walks out. nice.
I hate it when I know all these really amazing songs and, for some reason, i hear them at the bar and I can recite them but when I try to think about it later, I cant recall it. I think thats kinda weird how the brain works...the information is there, every little strand of it, but you need something to trigger it. Also, there was a sign that I read that satets taht yuor mnid can raed any pahrse around 5 letters long as long as the first and last letters are the same. That was a bad example...the one I saw was really interesting. fucked up, really.
