Lieberman voted in 1997 to require all nations in the developing world, such as China and India, be included in the Kyoto Treaty, in effect killing the treaty. The vote was unanimous. Lieberman also voted in 2000 to prohibit funds for the implementation of Kyoto, again killing the treaty. The 2000 vote passed 97-2.(S. There is nothing that pleases me more than reading this shit from a REPUBLICAN website. "LIEBERMAN VOTED TWICE TO KILL TREATY"---so by voting for adding two huge polluters to the treaty, he killed it? Odd. And I looked up the second vote and it turned out to be APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE DEPT OF THE INTERIOR. How does that = killing the treaty? Such bullshit! I am seriously appalled at the fact that this is on a supposed SERIOUS website. Goddamnit. Brandy? Please. As a republican, im sure you can explain this? And twice he voted YEA...so how does this work?!!?!?
