I just got back from Charleston last weekend. Good times! Thurs, I picked my roommate up from midway...because the poor fuck is too cheap to go to ohare....and we made our way to charleston to see our peeps and drink a bottle of walkers deluxe. mmm.
Friday, I went to coleman to catch up with my profs, which turned out to be Dr. S, who, might I add, gave me the best compliment ever. The topic was being condescending in regards to teaching, and my roommate was talking to her about it. Then hes like, "And Troy taught me how to do that over the course of last year." And she replied, "Yeah, he's good at that. theres been a few times where he would say something and a few seconds later, I would think that he was making fun of me."
HAHAHA. I fucking rule. Then we went to Pontiac IL...an exciting town, for the rehearsal and another night of drunkeness. I actually did pretty well in Poker, which suprised me, cause I usually get bored and give up after a while. Then my other roommate fought someone outside and landed in a pile of dog shit, which, by the way, he washed off that night and still didnt shower the next day before the wedding. He did put cologne on it, though.
The wedding was good...I kept on laughing during the ceremony because the preacher kept on equating marriage with a "delicious powdered gravy" and while Crystal, my neighbor, recited the Lord's prayer while opening and chewing her pack of gum.
The reception was good....lots of champagne, wine, and beer was consumed by all of us. I danced like a white guy should...and I made an impressive spot of puke appear on the driveway of the hall. Classy, no? Then we went back to the hotel with the hot photographer and partook in some hot tub lovin.
now im back at home after a shitty day of work. But, im going to the cubs game, so im happy. w00t.
