Life is Love.

I had a very wonderful birthday, thank you to everyone who helped me to celebrate!!!

King's Hunt was just about as fabo as could be. It was fun to relax with Lady Theo Friday afternoon and read my book. Three headed monsters and drunken games made a lovely first evening and tablero (sp?) and unintentional campfire medleys helped to make the second excellent. Margaritas were so the good idea. And, I was pleased to see many of my friends get awards and got one myself. (Notes to self: Must practice getting up without stepping on the skirt.) Being sung to in court was cool. Must make a new doublet and more garb. MORE GARB!!! (turns into garb zombie)

Yesterday was comic. Just little things all day, most interesting the revelation that while a blender can double as a food processor, they do not make good blenders (see mess all over the kitchen...). Rachael, Tira and Nate were all over for a bit, and there were again margaritas and the hive mind. squee. Did I mention I love the hive mind?

Today was... mixed? I'm going with the same theory as I went for Sunday: Murphy knows it's still April Fools season.

At work,I had my first scheduled Dish Room Coordinator shift, with just one scheduled worker, and Juan the wonderful who voluntarily came in to train me! It was very busy, and involved lots of foaming debris, bad attempts to operate the hose and splashes into face. Mmmmmm somat.

At lunch I was supervisor, and there must have been something in the air: the was no scheduled coldline (which I realized when I finally got out of dishroom, fifteen minutes before we opened...), Square no showed, a hotline worker called in sick, and one of the two dishroom workers no showed. Luckily, the other workers were all uber competent. It ended smoothly, and we got out just 10 min late. Much love for the other workers, and it was not fun, but healthily challenging.

After a nap I woke up to a hatted, ponchoed, bearded Paul holding out a Tequila shot. mew??? And an Amy. Oddest wake up I've had in a while.

Stich-less Bitching was fun, and included Boba and pizza, both of which rock.

How on earth is it so late? hee.
Much love for many. Night!

boba, ortega, king's hunt, work, alcohol, margaritas, sca, blenders
