So lately all the news has been talking about is how much these protests are costing the city. That they've had to pay for damages to public property, increased police presence overtime, etc.

I do not understand the POINT of these protests. Before you all slam me - do I think that a lot of politicians are corrupt? Yes. Do I believe a lot of big corporations like banks are hopelessly, shamelessly greedy and have stomped on middle America? Yes. Do I hope something could be done to FIX these issues? Do I wish more americans had jobs? And weren't getting foreclosed? God, of course, YES.

What I just don't get is what they hope to ACCOMPLISH. How will change be brought about if all you're doing is, basically, being a pain in the ass to any poor souls who happen to live near where you are occupying? WHAT IS THE POINT? They don't even have a list of demands. I JUST DO NOT GET IT.

OK HERE IS ANOTHER THING I DO NOT GET.
On my way to work, somebody has had an inflatable decoration in their front yard. It's a deer (a buck) dressed in a hunting outfit, complete with a gun. So... is he hunting... people? Like people hunt deer? I honestly don't get this decoration. Is it an attempt at irony?

Therefore... occupy protests and deer dressed up as hunters confuse me.
