Day Two with Minnie
Our little kitten is still shy around people - she did sleep on Mark's chest last night and Sergei slept at my feet - so pretty good to have them sharing a bed after less than 4 hours! We also had great success with the litter box training - we just kept dropping her in there and finally she did her business there.
We both had to work today so Sergei and Minnie were king and queen of the house - we returned and there was no visible damage - to our things or each other! Success!!! They were both just hanging out in the family room when Mark came home, and both came to greet each of us when we came home.
Minnie is getting more used to her surroundings and starting to play - pretty darn cute to watch a fluff of nothing attacking a piece of paper! She loves to play with my apron strings -its hours of amusement right there. She has figured out the doggie stairs to get on the bed - it's still to big of a hop for her to get from the top stair to the mattress, but she keeps trying, and ending up on the floor. (Mommy amusement is also plentiful!) She has gone down the stairs several times - she sorta tumbles on to the first step, sometimes ending up feet over head as she tries to sort it out and make it to the bottom.
Tomorrow is our first trip to the vet - gotta make sure she is healthy and start the vaccinations!
