Wedding and honeymoon
So hey, I'm married now.
Wedding was the 25th, absolutely gorgeous. We had beautiful music (thank you Morningstar), and unlike the last couple weddings I've been at successfully lit the unity candle.
Reception was great too, though we had enough family there that it was hard to talk to everyone for any length of time, and it all went by very fast.
Then we spent the last week in Italy. I recommend it to anyone, though try to get more time in Rome than we did; we felt like we had seen at least the key sights in Florence and Venice (cathedrals at both, art museum in Florence, Doge's palace in Venice, gondola ride), but we spent most of the time in Rome at the Vatican, and the only Roman Empire thing we saw was the Pantheon.
Sorry this update is so short after five weeks and big events, but I'm on a computer at the library in West Seneca. Oh yeah -- Dara and I are staying with her parents for the next two weeks or so, and then moving down to an apartment in Wappingers. If you're on this side of the state, call my cell and we'll catch you before we go (and don't worry, we'll still be back pretty often to see her family); if you're on my side, we'll see you when we get back.
