My boyfriend bought me a DIAMOND promise ring! and gave it to me before he left to go to Washington, DC. The diamonds are only .03 carats, but who gives a fuck. they're real diamonds, and it's the most i've ever worn. besides, i don't need huge diamonds for a promise ring, that's being saved for an engagement ring. : )
anyway,
and in case you're not sure what exactly a promise ring is for, it's:
1. to promise you'll be faithful for the entire length of the relationship, and;
2. you know engagement could be on the way, but you're not financially, or for whatever other reason, stable.
that's the jist of it.
