(no subject)
I'm listening to my World Music station on Pandora, and suddenly this song "Road to Benares" by Thunderball comes on. And I think, this song would be the perfect background to a video montage of me, here alone in my sweats and with my mug of coffee. The screen would flash pictures of me in various uncomfortable positions in our office chair, typing, writing things out by hand, flipping wildly through a book, staring into space, and doing my trademark thinking move: continuously running my index fingers through a long strand of hair. And then, by the end of this inspirational photo montage, with the last surging notes of "Road to Benares" fading away, I would be done with my work for this semester.
...*sighs dreamily* If only.
I suppose I'll just have to content myself with my freshly-roasted chestnuts (:D!) and the fact that I am just a mere... ten or fifteen hours or so away from finishing my work for this semester. Onward, self!
