More Procrastination . . .

From Erin . . .
1) Where would you eventually like to end up in your life (both professionally and geographically)?

Hmmm. This is undoubtedly going to sound cheesy, but I would love to end up in Washington, DC, as a United States Senator. From there, I would, of course, change the world. :) However, I have formulated my plan of action as to how I'm going to get there quite yet . . .

2) How do you feel you've changed the most since moving to New Orleans?

I've changed in so many ways. I'm less shy than I was four years ago. I'm more aware of the things and the people around me. I have more confidence in my ability to adapt to new places and meet new people. I'm confident that I can live on my own and survive. I don't get as nervous and worked up about little things anymore, like calling people I don't know. I have pretty much kicked any fear I had of public speaking. I feel lucky; lucky to be where I am, to know the people I know, and to have had such an amazing experience for the last four years. Overall, I feel like I'm a better person, and I want to keep working towards being a better person.

3) What do you consider your biggest weakness?

My self-confidence (or lack thereof). I think we all have similar issues about that . . .

4) What album could you not live without and why?

Umm, today? It changes almost daily. I love love love Ani DiFranco’s Out of Range. She is so powerful-I hate wimpy music. I hate people who don’t say anything in their songs. Ani can say everything I want to say in a four-minute song. She’s amazing.

5) When are you actually moving out of New Orleans for good? Can we get very drunk before you do that? :)

May 15th, and abso-fucking-lutely. I plan to be drunk the entire week before graduation :-)

From Andrea . . .
1. If you could go anywhere in the world for the next year and do whatever the hell you wanted to do with no fear of judgment, where would you go and what would you do?

Do I also have unlimited money? If so, I would go to Europe, because I’ve never been there and I feel like it’s a right of passage for every college/high school kid. I hate the fact that there are entire areas of the world I have never seen. If I didn’t have unlimited money, I would go to DC and get a job with NOW, Legal Momentum, Emily’s List, or one of 100,000 other women’s organizations. That would be my dream job.

2. Do you believe in things like match.com? I ask because, as I write this damn question, that stupid commercial with Dr. Phil came on. Dr. Phil makes me nuts.

Um, no. I mean I guess so. I don’t know. It would never work for me, but I guess it makes some people happy.

3. What's your best memory with me in it? I think I know what this is, but just for argument's sake...

I can’t decide. I have three, haha. One-gotta be Mr. Binkys. Priceless. I didn’t even know you that well when we went there! It was awesome. You need to send me that picture of you in the robe and heels . . . Two-When you came over to our house with Happy and we “studied” all night. I’ll never forget when you came out of the bathroom and went “I think a moth just flew out of my cooch.” Three-The *special* pics you sent me for my bday . . . ‘nuff said :-)

4. What would you do first if you knew that you were going to die tomorrow? (I don't mean for this to sound morbid.)

I honestly don’t know. I would probably fly home to see my parents, my sisters, and my niece and nephew. Hopefully I never have to find out the answer to that question.

5. Are you going to come back and visit me in New Orleans? :( *sniffle*

Abso-fucking-lutely! Don’t ask if you don’t mean it!
