just another day
ok the following is what happened today at work but its all very random stuff so just be warned.
i was passing the registers when one of the girls showed a shower curtain rod to a manager that was checking out. well that girl was leaving to go put it back when this old lady in the next line over screams: "thats mine!!!" the girl was like, uh no, i just got it down of the wall. i was in shock, i didnt know if i could hold in the laughter before i could move away from the registers. i barely made it and was on the floor laughing, trying to tell the girl i was working with what happened...just craziness.
so this lady thats known for stealing nautica stuff comes in like right before we are supposed to close. so everyone is like, gabe go and watch the nautica room. make sure she doesnt steal anything. im like ok. but i was one room short of finishing my recovery and i was mad. inconsiderate thieving bitches. pain in my ass. so everyone is aware of her presence and she starts sweating bullets. she ended up buying like a shower curtain but had a cart full of stuff. the girl who helped her out was like, she didnt buy all of this stuff. i was like, did you seriously think that she was gonna buy it?
so then i found this book about potty training but its by elmo and makes noises (we sell the most random stuff). anyway, i pushed a button and elmo said: "hehehehe, i need to go potty!" so what do i do? yep, i pushed the button and put elmo over the PA. good times, let me tell ya'...sometimes i like working at my store.
well tomorrow is pay day and i will be talking to some car salespeople about getting a new truck. wish me luck on that. then im goin' out to wild west to celebrate the last day in lubbock for a girl from work. she graduated school this past may and got a "real" job down in austin working for some designers. i hope nothing bad happens at the club because im sure, with my luck, it will.
