(no subject)
today went pretty good. i woke up around 1:30, earlier than what i had been getting up at. went to my interview for gap but i was a little late. i was hauling ass on the interstate swirving around cars and surprisingly enough, the camaro actually responded to my "pedal to the metal" moments. so i show up at like 4:30 and i see the guy that helped me get clothes the week before and im like im here for the group interviews. he takes me back and im like crap im so late, bad first impression. but im not late. the managers' meeting ran late so im on time!!! so there are 8 of us and the manager sitting in their office which is so tiny. anyway, we go in and and the first thing Helen, the manager, says is that we are looking for enthusiastic people and so i will be looking at those who speak up the most. this one girl sitting beside her thinks that means its time to brown nose...a lot. she was annoying the hell out of me. i could sense that she was just doing that as a front to make her self known. and then this other guy was like, "oh well, (guy's name) is a friend of mine and he told me what to expect from the manager's." or something random like that, just to let helen know that he knows someone that works for the company. both kinds of people i cant stand. i, on the other hand, did not kiss ass nor did i make tell her that i knew people who work at the store, which i do, but i made direct eye contact with her whenever she asked me a question or asked her one. and i noticed that she would always come to me with a question first before the others. so hopefully i did a good job during that interview. and all the things she said about gap made lnt look so much crappier.
then i went to work 2 hours late but they didnt really care that much. i got another 4 on my audit so hopefully this next raise will be a lot more than my previous one, fingers crossed. i only dealt with one bitch today who told me to go take a shower curtain rod and measure it even though it said right on the side how small it was. but no, the bitch wanted me to go check it. so i got a tape measure brought it back to her, and measured it right in front of her face. i said, "yep, it looks like its gonna be 24 inches, just like i said." "oh, well my door is only 21 inches, that wont fit." no shit sherlock. "do you think bed bath and beyond has 21 inche rods." "um no, they carry the same things we carry. i would go to home depot or lowe's, you know home improvement stores." "oh, you think they carry them." shoot me now, please.
ok so after work i go to the car dealership and the truck i want is still there...eeeeee!!!! im so freakin' excited. im praying that my credit isnt that shitty for me to get it. hopefully ill get up early enough tomorrow to actually go and talk to someone about it. if not, im off thursday thru saturday so hopefully it'll still be there. it looks so nice!!!
im off to bed y'all, and hopefully helen will call me tomorrow and tell me i got the job. and i will have a new truck.
