Wrap around skirts and cabaret, how fun! Good luck with the alteration, it looks to be fairly simple.

I wasn't in the hospital after my surgery, but I was stuck in my bed for over a week and having a basket of stuff to keep me busy saved my sanity! My basket was full of stuff friends gave me as well as a bunch of stuff I added myself: new music, entertainment on demand (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), books to read, crossword puzzles or Soduko, coloring books & crayons. If there is a craft she likes, a kit of supplies to do that is also very appreciated.

Love the skirt its a great fabric, don't worry about the prize when it comes it cones no rush. Sorry to hear about your friend, my only suggestion would be some stuff to do, maybe adult colouring  books or cross stitch and maybe some audio books. Have a great week. X

I can't imagine my sewing room not being a hot mess any more. And if I didn't have a gazillion things in progress, I'd be worried.

I love the skirt. I like the flare it has.

Jen's ideas for the basket are great.

I love that skirt. I think it's great the way it is, but your solution seems like a good one ( ... )

Exciting video with the falling and all that ;D

The skirt looks gorgeous - have fun modifying it!

Most of the people I've known in the hospital just wanted some of their own things and stuff to keep them busy because it was sooooo boring.
