I had my video up with a story. And Suzie commented on it. Thank you ☺ but after rereading my own story, I wanted to delete it. And accidentally deleted the whole post. Whoops. I will try get the video up again in here.
I have to tell you that I already read your original post, but was leaving for work so I hadn't commented yet. You are constantly impressing me with your perseverance through your challenges and prolific creativity, your star trek patterns are amazing. We are so fortunate to have you in this little group, and I'm SO very glad you joined us here.
After watching the video now I want to say I am so glad someone sent you those stamps! I thought of you when I read about them online this past weekend. I'm looking foward to seeing all your new designs in the fall for the FB quiltalong.
I'd read your post as well - sometimes I sort of let a video or comments "process" a bit before commenting (not that I ever have anything very insightful to say, lol!) so hadn't said anything yet. But I found your story to be very touching, and can certainly relate to creativity and crafting being very healing, especially after my cancer scare a few years ago. Fandom is so healing too...there are times I think I would've gone completely crazy without my fandoms to run to for comfort. I'm glad you joined this group to share your talents with us!
Oooh, those stamps are great! How nice for someone to send those to you!
Wear that "geek freak" label with pride...you have a lot of company in that category here. :)
