If I'd realized it was #60 I would have done a drawing. I'll try to remember next week!

This time of year is always rushed isn't it?! As I said before, I'm impressed with how quickly you've moved on that blanket! I love how scrappy it is. :)

Well, I'm always rushed on weekdays due to working full-time, but I am making time for these videos, darnit!

I really love that blanket, too. I almost wish I had chained the number for the larger throw so I could keep it for myself! It's going to be superwarm.

Wow that is a lot done on the Glorious Scrap Eater! Go Jewells! :D

Cat's block looks great - I have that same blue geometric-y print, and I think I used it in her block, too!

The new pink blankie is very lovely too. :)

It's nice to have things to show off again. :)

I am celebrating the end of 2013 Birthday Blocks *throws confetti*

That may well be the last traditionally pieced block I ever do, lol.

Shhhhh! I haven't even recorded my video yet.

Cat's block is great. I really like it. The repeat on that will be brilliant.

Muwahaha, Glorious Scrap Eater is AWESOME! It looks fabulous, just wonderful!

Woo, Sideways Shell! I'm still debating on the Blacklight yarn and am tempted to frog what I've got and do that instead.

BFF Resistance is FUTILE. *hugs*

Ooops! At least you get to show it off first! ;)

Cat's block was certainly one of the easier traditionally pieced patterns (or tutorial really) this year. but I think that's for me and traditional piecing for a while.

I LOVE this pattern. LOVE. I will definitely do this again. In fact, I'm really looking forward to planning a non-scrappy one with just 3 colors, or maybe 3 shades of the same color.

Nothing beats sideways shell for speed and zen crochet. I'm doing this one with 80 starting chains and size K hook. The 50/50 blend yarn is scrumptious.

I am glad to be back. Starting to feel a little more like myself again.

No worries!

I had forgotten how much I love that pattern, too. Next time a bag of scrap yarn comes through Linus, I might have to pounce on it! Scrap Eater, indeed!

So glad you're finding your footing again. *hugs tight*

I meant size J. I'm doing the sideways shell in a J and it looks really nice! Not too open at all. I was a little worried at first when I went up a size.

It's good to be back. And I NEEDED to hang out with all of you in a serious crafty way. So yay!

*hugs*

I haven't sent my block to Cat yet either -hopefully this week, if it's not so cold (and if I can walk to the post office without wading through two feet of snow!).

I'm amused that you named that afghan and still couldn't remember what you'd called it :D It looks so good still. (Seriously, if I had yarn and still crocheted, I'd totally want to make that one.)

feel free to hang on to the block for a little longer. over the next couple of weeks i'll be moving house and having a baby, so won't be able to do anything with it for quite some time anyway

I'm starting to feel ridiculous about it, since it's been made for a few weeks now! It's sitting in a bag at the front door and I just keep forgetting to take it to work with me, so I can hit up the post office. It'll get there soonish just to soothe my own conscience, anyway, even though I know you won't be able to use it straight away :D

I used to name every project when I first started knitting. I think I'm going to start doing that again, it's fun. But yeah, my short term memory sucks. Seriously. I leave my office on an errand and when I get where I was going I can't remember why I went in the first. BAD.
