I'll keep on saying it, I LOVE the colors in your grandmother's quilt, it's truly beautiful. Thank you for showing how you quilted it, it really helps me understand what you did. I will probably do mine in a similar way, now that I can see how it looks on there.

You are too funny about your fabric, but I know what you mean. I hate for tops to just languish. That baby quilt top is cute, though, I'm sure you'll find a quilting pattern you like for it.

I love your purple and grey block. When you showed the picture earlier on your journal I couldn't really see the purple in there, now that I see it I think it's really lovely. I'm sure she'll love it!

Not a problem at all - it's always so much easier to see things in pictures than words (esp. the bit with the stars!)

I have far too many unquilted tops laying around - not so many as the unfinished tops, but still too many. That's my big push for this year is to get the finished tops done and then start to worry about the rest of it afterward! The baby quilt will be an easy place to start.

I really like that purple and grey one too! I STILL haven't taken it off the wall to send away (tomorrow, definitely...) because it's just so pretty hanging there! I'll have to make myself a wall-hanging of it or something!
