Ha... I'd assumed the braided pattern was made with either 5 or 6" inch units, so.. 20-24" square :D That's just TINY.

Your daughter's quilt looks great. You flew through getting that one together!

I don't know that I've got a particularly awesome idea for passing on the book - probably I'd just do another giveaway on TTMT :D (Seems lazy though, doesn't it? If I were travelling to Russia this year instead of potentially in two years, I'd say I'd leave it somewhere in Russia for someone else to pick up and read. My sister's biggest frustration when they went last year was not being able to find very many English language books, and since she couldn't communicate with her in-laws, she spent a fair amount of time reading.)

Heh, yeah, I was getting a lot of "I love the quilt" and I could not wait to show it to scale!

The Shoji Screen pattern was super easy to piece once I had everything prepped. I think it would just fly if it was pieced with yardage instead of bits and pieces like I did it.

LOVE the braided kaleidoscope .. might get the magazine just for that pattern

Miss E's quilt looks fantastic . .

The book?? I would stick a sheet into the front of it (kinda like libraries do!) saying if ya have this book then ya have to pass it on to someone else when you have read it and get people to put their names on it and there country/area and see where it goes . After I have read it I would pass it on to my friend who would then pass it on to someone else . It would be great to see where that book ended up .

It's awesome to see the actual size of that square. 3" for the little sections???

Elena's quilt is just amazing. Wow! Awesome job, and I really love the different reds throughout.

Yeah, I know, 3" is craaaazy, but I loved working that small!

I love all the reds, too! It looks even better than I expected.

Whaaaaa? Itty-bitty! You had me fooled, too. I thought that "quilt" was much bigger!

Shoji Screen looks great, too. And I just peeked at your TABABOM block...so lovely and those Stonehenge fabrics are just the perfect fit.

That bright blanket is so so happy! :)

It was never my intention to fool anyone, but it's been a fun accidental side-effect!

Glad you like the TABABOM. It's been fun, but challenging, to only use one line of fabrics. I've never restricted myself like that before, but I do think the overall effect will be worth it.

Happy was the goal, so yay!

Elena's quilt looks absolutely amazing!!
I would have to say if I won the book giveaway I would give it to my mom so that she can read it and then have her pass it on and so on and so on...I would leave a piece of paper in it though telling them they must pass it on after reading and another piece for them to sign so others know how many people have read it before them :3

Wednesday February 8th happens to be my birthday as well :D

Thank you! I'm going to show it to my bee friends tomorrow and hopefully we'll have time to get backing fabric this weekend. I can't wait to see it all quilted!

Great idea, thanks for joining in the challenge!
