Your angles weren't half as bad as mine often are when I use my flip without the tripod :D ( ... )

Your package was such an amazing, fabulous, thoughtful surprise! I sent a thank you note, by the bye, but I think I may have done the postage very, very wrong. If I did and it never gets to you, let this serve as a small ZOMGTHANKYOU for thinking of me :)

Oh, I was going to say that in my ridiculously long comment! It arrived today! And you're very welcome!

Oh, praise be! I'm so glad it got to you. I was worried (I have awful luck with the postal service) :D

kudos to you in starting paper piecing with that pattern. I am going to start on some of the smaller patterns first. Yours turned out really good and love the wands.

Thank you! I'm pretty excited about this paper-piecing thing, and I've been having some good fun trying it out. I'm just crossing my fingers that it goes a little faster the next time around; otherwise, I might give up as 6 hours for one quilt block seems rather ridiculous ;_;

glad that you had fun. I am going to try to work my way up. I am so excited also about the smurfs pattern.

Hurrah for flists! What a great day for mail! Your Gandalf looks great...my whole PoD is smattered with improvisational paperpiecing.

The wands look just beautiful...what lucky little friends you have.

And congrats on having students cool enough to recognise you as Hester Prynne. Why couldn't I have had a teacher cool enough to host a Scarlet Letter Tea Party?!?

Excited to see River all completed!:)

I'm pretty excited to see River finished, too! I don't know what she's going to look like, whether I'll be able to successfully pull off the hair, or whether I'll just end up looking like a complete idiot because there's no way I'll be as sexy as Alex Kingston. But hey, all I can do is try, right? :D

I have the same problem with the lack of fabrics. Most of the fabric I have is really my mom's haha She got most of hers from a friend who had it stashed in her attic collecting dust and passed it down to my mom when she started getting into quilting. We haven't really bought a whole lot of fabrics cause she's been wanting to use up what she has left before going out and adding to the pile. We're starting to get down to bare bones so we're gonna have to get some good stuff soon!

I'm really excited to see your River costume. I can't wait to see all the elements come together :D
