[Kate had been meditating. It did not come natural. At all. She was also drinking a good amount of alcohol and eating a lot of spicy food. Now here she was, in the field of flowers, a little wobbly from the drink, doing her best to force more of her fire magic to the surface. She was managing to do was create brighter and brighter balls of fire in her hands, and was finally able to get the fire to go more than a foot away from her hands when she let go. The exersion was tiring her out, but the alcohol was managing to help her ignore it. At least if she passed out, the flowers were soft.]
