[The comm post opens up with her playing an electric guitar; the amp was a bit away, so it wasn't too loud. When last she overheard Pickles and Nathan talking, they had assumed she wasn't a good guitarist. I happen to have a penchant for poetry as well as a liking for lyrics. I used to tout a talent of the tongue, but it's clearly a vulgar thing to say to young ladies. I save that one for young men!

I respectfully request the privilege of writing a song to be performed by your minstrels. What sort of sentiment would you prefer? "Desperate longing" or "pitiful desire"?

Uh ... "desperate longing" would be more my style. "pitiful" is ... well ... pitiful.

I think they use paper and pencils here ... but you could check deck 12, maybe some luggage from your era made it there?
