Summary: Pete vists the other room and finds George.
Pete had woken up that morning in hope it would be the last time he heard the heavy snores of John Lennon. Whenever John finally came down from those pills he was taking he could make the windows rattle with his heavy breathing. Perhaps it was exaggeration on Pete’s behalf seeing as he’d just lie in bed and listen to each breath with a scowled expression.
Paul had told him he’d talk John into switching rooms again.
So far no change had happened and Pete wondered if Paul had backed out of their deal and if he did then why. He remembered Paul leaving perfectly fine and it was him thinking too deeply about the situation and its pros and its consequences. Perhaps Paul had done some serious thinking of his own, and if he had then Pete wanted to know what was on his mind despite how dark he had claimed it was during their last conversation.
He didn’t stop to knock the door.
Instead the young drummer pushed the door open assuming Paul would be in. “Hey Paul what’s- oh! Uh... y’alright George?”He stopped mid-stride and stood rigidly looking over George.
