Quick update
It's been too long. Seems like I hadn't updated since that last big illness. Audrey had some good days since then. We took a good vacation in Palm Desert. I feel like it was the first vacation Audrey kind of understood we were on vacation. She likes vacation. Highlights include Audrey peeing in the elevator and then pointing out how she peed there every time we got in the elevator.
Halloween was a hit. We were Lion (me), Tiger (Audrey), and Bear (Jeff). Audrey went Trick or Treating but didn't have any candy yet this year. She had a parade and games at her preschool and then also had fun at Md7.
The last week was our first real dealing with tummy troubles. After Thanksgiving dinner at Jeff's mom's house, Audrey had slight diarrhea and then threw up at the house and three times on the way home. Then several times that night until she finally settled. She was so exhausted. After the first night, the vomiting ended - thankfully, but then the diarrhea persisted for dayssss. Watery diarrhea - lots of it. We went back to preschool Wednesday after 24 hours clear but she had two episodes of diarrhea that day so we stayed home Thursday where she was clear another 24 hours and here we are Friday she made it through the day at preschool.
Work has been trying. HR really demanding a lot of my life - especially recruiting as they want to hire 10 new LCs by in like 30 days. Stacey just got back from surgery - she was out for a few days for that and still recovering.
On Saturday 11/30 my grandma - nai nai - passed away. She definitely had declined so much the last 2 years since Audrey was born.
So tummy sick baby girl, work in overdrive, nai nai passing away - this past week has been a struggle.
