If you are a smoker, you would probably realise that most dustbins at the bus stops have their ash-tray compartment removed.
And it is probably because smoking is not allowed within the bus stop.
You would also realised that you can no longer find trash bins in MRT stations.
And it is probably because of security measures against terrorism; no bins, no bombs, no attacks.
This roughly follow the same argument for sex in Singapore.
Abstienence, or don't talk about sex, don't talk about homosexuals.
And you will probably not encourage a "decadent", "unnatural" and "immoral" lifestyle, and then, no more sex related diseases.
This is probably a city-in-denial that we live in.
