Vday Revalry
Its been a while since I wrote here, partly I suppose, for lack of time, and partly because I wasnt sure of what to say.
I woke up this morning feeling kinda sad, and Im not sure why, which is somewhat irksome. Maybe its just the cold Im fighting off. Or maybe its something entirely different, I dont know.
Ray and I went to out Valentines Day dinner at Nicolas on Friday. We both had to work til 6ish, and then I rushed home to shower and get changed. Id found this really cute dress at Dillards on clearance to wear for the occasion, but for days Id been agonizing over Ray would like it or not. I even hung it on a thumb tack in my room so that I could periodically look over and pick it apart, and then reaffirm that I did indeed think it was perfect.
See Ray is the type of person that'll tell you precisely what he thinks about something, even if doing so will hurt your feelings. Which really is good in a way, except that there are times, like Valentines Day dinners, when you would really rather be left in the dark. You know?
But yeah, he ended up loving it. He kept telling me how nice I looked and that I couldnt have picked a better color. Twice while we were out he snuck in a butt pinch. Lol.
