Summary: Buffy has a very bad vacation and Harry is the first to find out.
Buffy glared tiredly at the mussed head of her current boyfriend.
“Did you have a nice vacation?” He asked, smiling cheerfully, brimming and full of good news.
Buffy arched an eyebrow at him, “between the nutcases going through my luggage and asking me about why I carried pointy pieces of wood and so many weapons with me and that snake faced guy who took such great pleasure in having low-life scum bowing and scraping before him. And oh yes, let’s not forget the kidnapping attempt that kept me occupied for all of four hours.”
“Snake faced guy?” Her boyfriend repeated, adjusting his glasses, not quite sure what Buffy was getting at.
“Skull and snake black on a dark green tapestry with silver embroidery. There was this pitiful looking platinum blonde who kept calling me a pathetic muggle and that his Dark Lord Moldywart would take great pleasure in watching me be broken.” Buffy deadpanned, “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have one more day of ‘relaxation’. A hot bath is so calling my name.”
Harry sighed; he should have known better then to believe that Voldemort would actually leave Buffy alone.
“No more vacations, ever.” Buffy called out, “remind me.”
