Out of this World Challenge--slash

being stuck on what I want to write always leads to strange things. I have no excuse but this was more intersting than doing the dishes during nap time :)

"Oookay, now I just knew you were too good to be true. But Green is new." Xander stared at the man in front of him. "So what the hell are you John Jones? I mean yeah, getting involved with a guy that fell out of a portal wasn't the brigtest thing I've done but I thought you were human."

"I am sorry--"

"You're hurt," Xander frowned.

"Some venom on the creature's talon." J'onn gasped.

"Crap," Xander moved to inspect the wound.

"I am from Mars."

Xander shook his head. "Yeah, well, we'll get to that later. The poison takes top billing."

J'onn had given his friend...his lover the time he'd asked for. A week to think once J'onn had recovered from the poisonous scratch.

This Earth was more confusing than the Earth J'onn had come to call his own. The last son of Mars had only sought to survive long enough to return to his own Earth. He'd become friends with Xander over the past two years and just before that fight finally lovers.

"Hey," Xander answered the door quietly, then stood back to let J'onn into the apartment.

"Will you allow me to explain?"

Xander nodded. "Yeah, explaning is good."

Mojo had nearly killed him, he'd curled up screaming when Willow had tried a 'Find out what you are' type spell. J'onn was a telepath but his abilities didn't seem to work on those with supernatural abilities in this world. He hadn't been able to judge how they would react. Hadn't quite dared risk telling...

Aliens were known to exist on his earth. A few openly. He hadn't wanted to lie. Only survive. He meant no harm. Only wanted to go home to his own Earth. His people were gone, he was the last of his race.

And Xander...believed him.

"You could have read my mind," Xander said, not quite believing the words left his mouth.

J'onn shook his head. "You've all been too touched by the supernatural. I can't read you..."

Xander nodded thoughtfully. A while later, "You sound really...bummed about that."

"It is...can be...a great intimacy and one I've not wanted to share with anyone since my wife's death. Now I've found someone and it is...impossible."

Xander blinked. Not the answer he expected.

"I will go..."

"Uh hu-wha- no stay. I just...gimme a minute here."

J'onn sat quietly, waiting.

"I--I'm nuts. I-- damn. We aren't over yet."

Kinky.

Xander could do kinky. He'd been with Anya for three years.

Kinky hit all new highs once he and John had worked out the whole 'my boyfriend isn't just from another dimension but a shapeshifting martian from another dimension' thing.

J'onn didn't have the whole human concepts of what should and shouldn't be done either. And...just damn. Martians seemed to go for the whole person not package thing. Course their ideal form of sex sounded something like a Vulcan MindMeld so hey...

Xander gasped as his 'boyfriend' melted into green shapeless mass and covered Xander. Yeah, kinky but oh... god... good...

"J'ONN!!!!!!!!"

"What the--" Faith shouted.

"J'ONN!"

"Kal El" J'onn breathed

"Uh--hey, bumpy faces burning em of the good!" Xander shouted as he staked the vampire on him.J'onn saked the one going for Xander's back.

Faith got the final three. "So what's with Mr. No Gravity there?"

"Friend of John's from his home. They found a way to get you home man." Xander smiled weakly at J'onn.

"I would like you to come with me." J'onn said quietly.

Xander swallowed.

"The rift won't hold long--"

"Faith-"

"Yeah, I'll tell em"

"Superman?"

Xander gaped. Batman. Holy. Freaking. Shit. Pissed Batman. Not a good thing. He was sure of that.

He had marginally known he was dating a guy from a comic book in his reality. But damn...

"Who's your buddy, J'onn?"

Xander's eye darted to the blonde man. Green Arrow.

"This is my mate Alexander."

Batman glared at Superman.

Superman blushed and looked confused.

"Huh...well didn't know you swung that way, J'onn. Really didn't think you swung any way actually..." Green Arrow seemed to recover first. "So what'd ya do back home, Alex?"

"Xander. I go by Xander."

"He fought demons"
