Faith was startled when the man came towards her, but she quickly recovered and smiled warmly.

“Hello, Echo, would you like your treatment now?” he said.

“Sorry, guy you must have me confused,” Faith said and turned away. Pity, he was cute.

“Echo? Wouldn’t you like a treatment?” he asked and placed a hand on her shoulder. Faith grabbed his wrist and flipped him onto his back.

“Don’t know who you are, or who Echo is, but I’m not her.”

“Caroline?”

“Guess again, Sparky. Name’s Faith and if you don’t leave me alone you’ll be in a world of hurt.”

Challenge: #93 - Mistaken Identity

Giles hated dealing with the police, especially American ones. They tended to be helpfully stupid but ask all the awkward questions. Luckily this was a human murder, no demonic or magical involvement and Giles was just a witness.

But as the detectives investigating arrived on the scene, Giles could barely contain his panic and visibly whitened. He couldn’t even begin to fathom how Caleb was even alive, much less working for the NYPD.

To Giles’ great amazement Caleb walked over to where Rupert was standing and held out his hand. Dumbfounded, Giles shook it. Caleb smiled.

“Hi, I’m Richard Castle.”
