Willow lay back, letting the sun bake her body. Her move to Neptune had been a fortunate one. Not long after she left, Sunnydale ceased to exist. Not that it mattered, she had lost everyone that she had loved before it happened. Xander and Buffy had turned their backs on her after her brush with black magic.
Her sun was blocked as her partner arrived and lay out her towel. She turned her head to watch as the girl settled into the same position.
“You okay Wills?”
“Yeah Mac, just thinking...”
“Sunnydale?” Mac asked, knowing the answer.
“Maybe a little.”

She groaned, there went her planned hacking. She really needed to check out the city morgue after hearing of so many deaths. She had promised Buffy to call if she needed her.

The door to the room opened and Duncan stood there in shock at seeing the people in front of him.
“Who are you?”
