Title: Cheerleader’s Lament
Word Count: 100
Fandom: BtVS/Veronica Mars
Buffy sighed. It was hopeless, his attention was well and truly captured by the other blonde. The blonde who went to school with him. Why couldn’t she get him for once? She was a cheerleader, she was attractive and she was intelligent… yet he couldn’t give her the time of day. No Logan Echolls only had eyes for Lily Kane.
Buffy knew Lily was wrong for him, could tell that she would cheat on him. But what evidence could she show him. So instead, whenever Hemery played Neptune, she made sure that Tyler was around. Just to make him jealous.
Title: Chasing Men
Word Count: 100
Fandom: VM/SG1
When Kendell wasn’t chasing after millionaires, she was chasing after the military. Not just any military men, but one Cameron Mitchell. He had charm and charisma but was so intently focused on his training and his job that for a while there, Kendell thought he was gay.
That theory got thrown out when she checked up on him at Colorado. He was out with a stunning blonde and a gorgeous brunette. He seemed overly close with both of them. And they both had more self confidence than she could muster. She wouldn’t have a chance against either of them.
Title: Pedestal
Word Count: 100
Fandom: SG1/Bones
Daniel only knew of her by reputation and because she was a best seller. Dr Temperence Brennan. Her anthropological skills rivaled his own. To him, she was on a pedestal, perfect in every way. He knew it was wrong to put her in such a position, because he knew few would rarely live up to the concept of perfection.
When he went to the Jeffersonian to meet her, he realized just how out of her league he was. Not because he couldn’t match her but because of the way she focused on her partner, one FBI Agent Seeley Booth.
Title: Impossible Forensics
Word Count: 100
Fandom: Bones/NCIS
There were few people who could match what Zack Addy did with forensics that weren’t working at the Jeffersonian. But here he was teamed up with the only one he could think of, Abby Scuito from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
She was everything he could ever imagine to be, confident, smart and good with people. She was friendly and joked with her team mates and got on well with the others at the Jeffersonian. Zack knew that he would never have the confidence to ask her out. So instead he watched from afar and wished for the impossible.
Title: MMORPG
Word Count: 100
Fandom: NCIS/The Guild
Tim McGee knew of Codex from the massively multiplayer online role-playing game that he played. She was a part of a neighborhood guild that consisted of a warlock, mage, healer, ranger and warriors. The group was pretty good at what they did but there lay the problem. As with any group that was good, close relationships seemed to form and if the image that recently had been posted in the forums was anything to go by, Codex and Zaboo were definitely close. He had seen the animated avatars naked and dancing. He knew it would be love from afar.
Title: Forbidden Love
Word Count: 100
Fandom: The Guild/BtVS
Dawn nervously looked around. Since joining the online role-playing game, she felt like someone was watching her. As someone who knew the dangers of what was out there, it really irritated her feeling that way. She knew someone was there, but where?
Zaboo hid in the shadows. Ever since Codex, he was being careful with his stalking. He had to make sure she felt the same way as him before making his move. It was just so hard though, she always was surrounded by others. Any time he tried to make contact, someone intervened. It seemed like forbidden love.
