She could feel the heat rising amongst them as they fought. His odour was intoxicating, strong and masculine but fresh at the same time. She could see there was sweat dripping down their bodies as they continued to battle.

She could hear her heart racing as she made her final move, knocking him to the ground but she had misjudged him. As he landed, he reached out and grabbed at her; causing her to fall and land on top of him. It was enough, she reached out and grabbed at his face. Kissing Ronan deeply, Faith gave into the sensation.

Rodney McKay never usually went anywhere near the room they used as a training room for a good reason. It always seemed to smell unpleasant. The only way it could smell worse was if someone sprayed citrus around the room.

But today he had to find Faith to ask her advice on recruitment of Slayers with scientific knowledge. Seeing as she wasn't in her room, the next logical place was the training room.

He opened the door and walked in, noticing a strange noise. Looking around, he located where the noise was coming from and wished he hadn't. He tried to back out of the room without making a noise, but he lost his footing.

Landing with a thump, he groaned. Noticing he now had two partially naked witnesses, he groaned again.

“I'll, uh... I'll come back later,” he stumbled out before moving quickly to his feet.

Faith and Ronan watched him run out the door before grabbing for their clothes. Faith looked at Ronan with a raised eyebrow.

“How about we head to my room for some privacy?” she asked huskily.

“You're on,” Ronan agreed quickly.

Moving swiftly, they glanced around the hallways and rushed off to Faith's quarters.

“Tell me about her,” Faith asked as they lay in bed.

“Why?” Ronan replied.

“I want to know what she was like,” she answered candidly. “I don't want to be jealous of a ghost. I know you loved her, I know she was your true love. But I'm curious as to what kind of person she was.”

“She was... everything,” Ronan tried to explain. It was strange that Faith would bring her up at this time. But he went on to describe to Faith all he could remember about her.

“I'm finally happy with the way things are,” Ronan admitted.
