Title: Mischief Managed
Word count: 200
Fandom: Harry Potter
Challenge: #65
Characters: Spike, George, Fred
"Got any of them blood-flavored lollipops?"
"Nope, those are - "
" - a Zonko's product."
"Hmm, pity. Got anything geared towards the undead?"
The two men exchanged an unfathomable twin-look. "Not at the moment," one replied. "It's a rather small market, y'see. You might enjoy some of our other products." They ushered him towards a small display entitled, 'Bugging the Boss: How to Open A Can Of Worms At The Office Without Getting Canned!
Spike inspected the merchandise, ranging from the chair unsitter (moved the boss's chair so he fell on the floor instead of sitting), the never-sharpening quill/pencil sharpener (self-explanatory), the inappropriate secretary daydream package (also self-explanatory), and other even more devious products.
"Do any of these meet your needs, Mr. Bloody?"
The blonde vampire grinned, an expression that many over the years had taken for evil, but the two master pranksters knew that look well. They saw it every morning in the mirror and whenever they looked at each other. Mischievous minds grin alike.
"I'll take the lot." It would be worth the loss of his fags for a few weeks, to see his bloody ponce of a grandsire moonin' over Harmony for a bit...
Mischief indeed.

Challenge: #46
Characters: Kikyo, Buffy
"Demon."
"No, demon-Slayer. I kill the big slobbery things that hurt humans? It's this whole big 'calling' schtick." Buffy was in banter-mode, having been confronted by a strange kimono-clad woman in an even stranger environment. No more late-night snacks for her, it led to really weird dreams.
"You reek of demonic taint."
Ok, that whole monotone thing was really starting to creep her out. The strange woman raised her bow and it started to shine with a strange pinkish light. "What are you doi - "
The arrow whistled towards her, and she snatched it from the air instinctively, then shrieked with agony as the pink glow leapt from wood to flesh. The strange light spread across her body, burning and melting, until her entire awareness was consumed with pain.
Kikyo nudged the smoldering carcass with one foot. Odd, the body had not been entirely consumed. Perhaps the strange woman had been a hanyou. It was no matter. She wrapped her bow around her shoulder and walked on into the cold night.

Title: Crime Wave
Word count: 151
Fandom: PotC
Challenge: #66
Characters: Jack, Dawn, Will
Dawn shoved through the crowded tavern, bumping into various unwashed bodies. After three weeks the smell no longer automatically stimulated her gag reflex, but she still wished she could find a quiet corner and retch.
Rubbing against yet another distracted male, her fingers nimbly slipped inside his jacket, coming away with a small leather pouch. She pushed hurriedly through the mass of people, wanting to be well away before he discovered his missing purse...
Jack grinned at Mirabelle, reaching inside his jacket and finding... nothing. He turned wounded brown eyes towards the prostitute, "Luv, it seems my money has gone a'walking. Must be thieves about, can you believe it?"
A resounding SMACK was his answer. He rubbed his sore cheek while he appreciated the diverting sight of Mirabelle's angry stalk. Such a lovely girl...
Working his jaw to be sure it still hinged, he sighed, "I don't think I deserved that."

Title: Inclement Weather

Fandom: LotR
Challenge: #47
Characters: Cordelia, Galadriel
Lightning flashed, illuminating the whole forest and leaving behind an almost violet afterglow. Galadriel found her pupil huddled against a window, watching the storm and shaking violently at each thunderous strike.
"It is but a storm, Cordelia. It shall pass."
The brunette nodded mutely and the two women were silent for a time. Watching nature's fury as it blasted the golden wood of Lothlorien. It was the third storm of this strength in almost a month, an unprecedented occurrence.
"It was on a night such as this that you came to us," Galadriel laid a cool hand on the young woman's brow. "Do not fear, our wood does not easily loose that which it has chosen to keep."
Again, the brunette nodded. "They'll be here soon."
"Yes," the lady frowned, "But they shall not be all that they were."
Cordelia looked her teacher in the eye at last. "I'll be going with them," she said. It was both statement and question, she did not yet trust all that Galadriel's teachings had shown her of Seeing.
"You will."
Both turned to look out the window again, the storm was dying down. "The future is so dark..."
"Yet hope remains."
"Hope remains..."

Fandom: The Covenant
Challenge: #67
Characters: Caleb, Faith
He was drunk, and cute... darn all those morals Angel had instilled in her.
Faith slid down the wall to sit beside him. He had one fist clenched around a half-empty bottle of cheap vodka, the other just lay their limp as a rag. Pitiful, but cute.
"What's your beef?"
He swallowed thickly, "I killed someone."
"So have I, what makes you so special?" Oops, probably should have been a little gentler with that. Then again, he looked like the sort that got treated with kid gloves when he needed a kick in the ass. Buffy got that way too, sometimes.
"I'm a murderer."
"Did you kill an innocent? Someone who couldn't defend themselves? Someone who hadn't done anything wrong? Do you go around kicking puppies or defiling sacred ground?"
He frowned at her, alcohol-hazed mind trying to keep up. "No," he answered slowly.
"Then you're a few up on me."
Caleb considered that, then handed her the bottle.
She looked at it, and him. What the hell, drunken sex might just be the kick he needed to get over his little guilt trip. Besides, he was cute, and those morals Angel had gifted her with weren't too deeply ingrained...

A/N: Whew! 26 drabbles in one day. That was a marathon and I shall never ever do it again. Ever. Reviews are like rain, nice smelling and good for the fertile earth that is an author's mind. I've gotten over a thousand hits today, and only three reviews... c'mon people! Like it, love it, loathe it with some degree of fiery intensity, lemme know!
