When Sergeant Bates approached her in the confines of Atlantis, Faith was wracking her brain to remember what Willow had told her about the structure of the SGA and how the Stargate worked. It had looked extremely suspicious when she was discovered on board before the message had come through from Earth that she was there.
“So do you want to tell me about how you ended up on Atlantis?” Bates asked again.
“It’s the same answer I gave you before you left,” Faith replied.
“That you were sent through a portal in search of a Slayer named Teyla?” he confirmed.
“Correct.”
“You’re lying.”
“Fine then, I was on a planet and saw your team heading back, and decided to tag along in the hope of being able to be sent back home,” she said sarcastically.
“Now you’re lying!”
“Would you make up your mind?”
Before Bates was able to question her again, he noticed Teyla and Major Sheppard enter the cell. He always knew there was something wrong about Teyla and the fact this mysterious girl was on base looking for her just confirmed his suspicions.
“Faith, welcome to Atlantis. O’Neill says hi,” the greeting left Bates in shock.

As her Head of House, Snape often sat down to talk to her about how she was adjusting. Around others he would be snarky and mean but to her, he always seemed generally concerned, he reminded her of Spike.
“I’m fine Professor Snape,” Willow answered his unasked question with little conviction in her voice.
“Liar,” he said gently.
“Fine, I miss Tara. I miss home. I feel like everyone just expects me to be evil because I went off the rails once.”
“It will take time, but you’re making great progress,” Snape admitted.
“Thanks Professor. I just can’t believe you.”
