Review Gboard for Keyboard

After you learned new language, you must learn how to write it. Like kanji, hiragana and katana in Japanese, hangul in Korean, or aksara jawa in Javanese. But the problem is if you want to try it on your phone then you must install keyboard for spesific language. Sometimes the keyboard app that you downloaded is not match with your expectation and ruin your mood to study. Now, I want to introduce you with my no.1 keyboard application that I've used for study another language. That's Gboard.

Gboard is an keyboard application that belongs to Google. It has more than 664 languages including traditional language like Javanese and Gorontalo. This is the setting menu appearance.


Language. In this menu setting, Gboard provides more than 664 languages. Also mostly of them have more than one input styles. Instance, for this Japanese language, there are 4 input types.


Preference. You can set up your keyboard for one-handed mode, keyboard height, sound on keypress and the volume, vibration and the strenght, pop-up and even time for the delay on long-press you can set it up from 100ms till 700ms.
Theme. Gboard provides 18 colours for the theme and you can set it up with your own picture also the brightness to look brighter or drearier.


Text Correction. Gboard allows you to turn on-off the suggestion word, block offensive word, emoji suggestion, auto correction, auto space, auto capitalisation, adapt Gboard to your typing data and usage pattern and the most important is spell check.

Glide Typing. Allows you to turn on-off typing with gliding on your keyboard.

Voice Typing. Allows you to turn on-off typing with voice.

Dictionary. To see and set words that have been adapted by Gboard.

Search. Allow you to turn on-off "search-button"
Wait, "search button"? Yes.. while typing, maybe there's something that you want to type but you forget what it's called, then you can simply search on google on your keyboard without minimizing your works. Also what I love the most from Gboard is there's google translate button where you can translate any language. If you don't know how to write it, just use handwriting input style.




That's why this keyboard application is the most suitable for someone who loves learn many languages.
