Honeymoon is over - but only literally
Lee and I just got back from an amazing 9 days in Kauai - and we didn't even make it to one of the most popular tourist destinations, Waiemea Canyon. However, we certainly took one hike 'off the beaten path'...or the beat-up-the-hikers path, as it turned out to be. (Note: do not hike through the jungles of Hawaii on non-well-worn trails without a machete and/or clothing covering all exposed body - those plants are sharp!). It was a great trip and the return to real life will be difficult - particularly because it involves a large pile of boxes in what was, at one point, our living room and not a shipping depot for Crate & Barrel (But thanks for all the great presents!).
The wedding itself was amazing and everything went smoothly...well, almost. There was the exploding centerpiece...just water...but lots of it. I'll have to post more details later. I'm supposed to be actually heading into work now..not sure how I will work and not look at the just-posted wedding photos, but maybe it can be done?
