Because OMG this is loading slow...
In keeping with our time-honored tradition of falling off the train right as it's up to speed, Roy and I are downloading Diner Dash 5 instead of dark penciling comics, but HEY, at least the blue lines are done, which was technically the deadline for today. Now so long as we ink/tone/text a page a day until the 30th (31st being Jero Day)...should be all good. -nodnod-
Super, super disappointed that it's looking like the author of the story I'm illustrating is probably never going to see the comic version. -cry- She hasn't posted on her LJ in a year. I commented on her last post in the hopes she'd get an e-mail notification, but no response thus far. DEPRESSION~ Ah well, less stress about being true to the story, I suppose...-_-;
In other news, I AM SO DONE BEING SICK. As in, tired of it. Although I'm really just coughing. LAME.

01/18: Went to the fabric district in the pouring rain with krispy-kream to pick up suede-stuff...took FOREVER >_>; (but in the end Avatar stuff turned out so awesome I can't care<3) Met up with epiic and friends---
---and went to Little Tokyo for curry~!
Look, someone drew Jesus! O_o;
...and then I had to run to BYB for work in the evening. ^_^; But~! Super fun outing, yay~! <3 So happy to just go out and see people for a little bit. Especially coupled with yummy lunch. Double win!

01/21: Japan, on top of the world. Kind of. I need to buy an inflatable globe. Do you know how hard it is to explain globe-things to a class when there isn't a globe around?
01/22: Spoooooooky~
We went with Roy's parents, her friend Steven and his girlfriend to go see Legion, which defied all expectations and was pretty darn fun. Thanks in no small part to that kid from American Gothic.
01/23: And we call this 'fail'~ Already. Two.
01/24: Went out to breakfast with our wife the next day, for no particular reason except maybe that we had a lot of work to NOT DO, haha. Pancakes, eggs and...mac n' cheese?
IHOP gives you orange juice refills! Oh, how we took advantage of that.
And then, because we had stuff we ought to have been doing...WE WENT TO DISNEYLAND. Because we absolutely rule.
