(no subject)
Today... I slept through Japanese. I suck. Well, see, I was really tired, so I went to bed at ... whenever I got back to my apartment, but I just couldn't sleep well until about five or six in the morning. sooo.... slept through Japanese, almost made it to math, but I took the time to write a note to my roomate saying "DON'T LEAVE MASSIVE WADS OF TOILET PAPER IN THE TOILET, IT WILL OVERFLOW, YOU GROSS FREAK ... <3 Alana" in the bathroom (no, it didn't say that... quite) and stop at the student center because I'm terrified to use my own toilet. So... since I hate being late to stuff and I'm a slacker, and a terrible person I hung out in the student center, where I talked to people and ate instead of doing my philosphy, so I didn't go, but I'm failing anyway, so it doesn't really matter. So I didn't go. And then Sami and I did the most awesome Mad Libs EVAR, which involved playing electric skyscrapers, old an old mansex teacher from pimp hat school, Horio's unibrow, and a Taka-san plushie. Then I went back to my apartment and chatted w/ Julia and Vee for a while.
Julia didn't beleive that I can be evil until I mentioned the wasabi sushi incident XD
Went home, watched a couple eps of Black Jack (I want moooore ;_; I'm addicted~) and studied kanji for HOURS. No really, it took me forever to even figure out which kanji I need to know, 'cause Sensei sucks at teaching kanji. Like, don't just tell me the english word you want me to find kanji for when there is MORE THAN ONE kanji for it! >_<;; Anyway, so yeah, I studied for the first time in... I can't remember the last time I studied XD;;;
And then the tree came! I don't think I've talked about the tree at all yet. Well, a couple days ago (Friday night?) Mom and Dad went to this fancy formal dinner thing, where there are all these Christmas trees that they auction off, and the money goes to Children's Hospital. I came home specially to see Dad dressed up, 'cause he was wearing a TUX and I don't think I've ever even seen him in a tie at all before ^^; It was like, $200 each person for dinner at this thing. Apparently, they had a lot of fun though, so that's good ^-^ I'm soooo sad, 'cause Mom kept telling me about this really cool Japanese themed tree that kame with a bunch of stuff (they all came with masses of stuff having to do w/ the theme) including a fourty year old gold obi that she said was really pretty. It so would have gone with my kimono! ;_; I need an obi for it... anyway, the did win this boat themed tree. It's actually really cute... it's about seven feet tall, I think, and it's on a dock. And there's a bookshelf that is like a row boat, and a table with a ship's wheel, and they have a gift certificate for a three day trip on a big yacht, and tons of stuff that pretty much fills the room by the front door (the one we usually have the foozeball table in) I'll have pictures some time, 'cause it's really cool. ^^
When we were mostly done unpacking, Dad was like "Let's have Champagne!! XD" And we were like "YEY!" And Mom said I couldn't have any, 'cause I have to drive back to my apartment, but Dad let me have some anyway XD Actually, I don't care that much, because I don't like champagne, but it's a good taste to acquire, right?
Hopefully I'll sleep better tonight >_< I'm worried about my grades, but I guess as long as I pass math ('cause I need it for my AA) and Japanese (becuase that's all I care about, really) than I guess that's fine... I'll have to pay Mom back for Philosophy, which sucks, but I owe her a ton already >_< And my grades are so terrible that this won't make much of a difference anyway *sigh* Yey for Central and how they will take ANYONE, even if they are a loser like me, as long as you have an AA.
