My cat said "Don't work today!" by sitting on my schedule.

The past week (since Friday two weeks ago), I've been staying up past midnight:
- Friday ~ Monday + Wednesday: 4am
- Tuesday & Thursday: 1am (because of work the next day)
- Friday ~ Monday (this week): 4+~5am

It... Hasn't been a pleasant week, to be honest. I haven't stayed up so late so often (and back-to-back at that) that my body disapproves and the next morning, instead of waking up early (like my alarm tells me to), I wake up after 7 hours of sleep. Doesn't mean that I feel better rested; my brain is actively thinking about my assignments as my body rest. Every waking hour is spent worrying about my deadlines and workload. When I get too tired/sleepy, I pop in a Vitamin C pill or a bottle of Brands' Essence of Chicken, and instantly am able to carry on working, even though every limb just wants to crash on bed, the brain will actively stay awake. Then when I try to do my work, I end up only being more productive after midnight, when I actually wanna just sleep.

Looks like my student-staying-up-late-waking-up-early-for-assignments gene is not in me anymore. Which sucks, because I want it back..? Seriously, I have the willpower to want to finish everything by my personal deadlines. But somehow, my body disagrees with my scheduling. *dislikes* :(

Oh I never mentioned this earlier, but two weeks ago..? I finally switched to a smartphone. Yes it's touchscreen. Originally I wanted to get the Blackberry (Bold...?), but then I've been eyeing the Samsung Galaxy S for quite some time already (since the launch, and NO it is NOT because Super Junior launched it with a showcase back in June! TSK). Admittedly, the phone was so easy to use (I tried it out at random stores to better decide if I liked the look and feel of it). Compared to the iPhone, it is lighter, faster, has bigger and brighter screen, and runs on Android OS. Okay sounding like an advertorial now. Whelp, it was also on offer, so of course the wait was worth it, in addition to giving me time to test out other phones and consider if I *really* did want to change from old-school keypad clamshell to touchscreen smartphone.

A lot of my friends said that once I get a smartphone, I'd be downloading apps like crazy. I've only downloaded 5 so far, and am bloody lazy to surf the app market to find free apps to download. Man, the first thing I tried out with my new phone was make sure the music player sounds good, I can play videos, text and call and take photos. That's it. Sigh, I think the deal with smartphones is not about them making your lives easier, it's how connected to social networks they make you.

Back to the original sleepless topic, today was spent just chillaxing and surfing the net. Right now as I type this, I feel regret for not having made progress, but I feel my body thanking me non-stop. My brain is especially happy. Tomorrow I'll be sleeping late (5am, perhaps? *winks*), and I'm looking forward to quite a bit of work to get done.

I just finished preparing a snack for tomorrow, since I have work and school later at night.

This is the scenery that I see whenever I'm having my snack before class.

Yes, I'm a sucker for sitting alone when I eat. I love having conversations in my mind, and looking at scenery while eating. I have a weird love for sitting at deserted stairs of school buildings and just chillaxing, because it feels so geeky old school. 8D;;;;;;;
