You can spare me the blues, I don't sing in that key

Anybody know what day today is? It's the day of miracles. Well, I slept at 4am and managed to haul my ass out of bed at 8.30am. Applaud applaud. I just got back from the Hwa Chong Mid Autumn Festival, which had a laser show. LASER SHOW! (please take note, raffles.) All in all, I was pretty underwhelmed since they cut down a lot on the burning of gigantic lanterns this year and I'm pretty much a pyro psycho. Heh. Rain was a bummer I guess, for the mass dances, which had to be held in the hall.

Anyway, because I was freaking out about my dissertation so task- oriented, I decided to head home to start cracking on my all night dissertation extravanganza. I felt all cold, sad and lonely whilst waiting for the damned bus outside HC and it sure didnt help matters that I was listening to No One is Alone from Into the Woods. Damn, that song is depressing. Really really depressing, especially when hearing it alone in the rain. Yup.

No One is Alone - Into the Woods

I just had a long hot shower. I think I needed that.

Anyhow, I cheered up considerably on the bus because In The Heights + a Murney Medley was looping non-stop on my itouch. I think I needed that too.

10 days to Abu Dhabi. this is what it feels like to be
