This albums gives me the wrong impression musically, I don't know where is trying to attemp, it was like rebound of birdman, idk! My favourite songs are by far Mugamuchuu, the beats makes me dance right away (is like what johnnnys sound currently), DaDaDaDa just because I love Lohas so much and they have a disco~moriagate song to dance, saikou! I like Yowai koto, I was expecting that song to be Goro's solo it sound so much like him, but Kimura there is not bad, that is just material for shipper, cause Smap ~they know things! I love the album version of Mistake. My favourite solo is definitelly Shingo, his song it's so powerful and refreshing (like funky monkeys). I really like The Future and Suki yo, that one was perfect to "close" the album, specially for the Nakai factor, i'm glad he had his solo lines and is notorious (well his voice has always been). Overall is not a bad album, but fail to be the best one like the predecessor, I'm sure the concert could give the songs another vibe and they're definitelly much better when the members are on stage performing.
I know what you mean about Birdman! I first listened to it after seeing the Fly PV and was totally disappointed there wasn't more of that concept . So yeah, I agree this album doesn't really deliver on the jazzy Mr.S image it starts out with :P LOHAS DISCOOO I love that song more every time, even though it makes me laugh at the image of those two disco-dancing XD And I so agree about Shingo's song, such a powerful, wonderful message<3 I guess it's a bit hard for this album to follow Gift of SMAP and We are SMAP, since it's missing a Nakai solo and doesn't have a song like We are SMAP! or CRAZY FIVE to really bring it together :P I'm looking forward to seeing the concert footage! :D
