1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?

Soooo much. Mostly having to do with plane tickets and relationships. It was a crazy, crazy time.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

Don't want 'em, don't need 'em.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

... I don't think so. Is it bad that I can't remember something like that?

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Grandpa. =(

5. What countries did you visit?

Canada! Yay Montreal!

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2008?

I need some major work on the old organizational skillz... Luckily my mother and my boyfriend are good at that sort of thing, so I should be safe.

7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

There are so many. I will remember this year for a long time. Both a good thing and a bad thing I suppose.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Also many things. =) I am not scared of travel, the doctor's office, saying what I feel (to most people), and even able to drive now. I am very proud of what I've been able to do this year.

9. What was your biggest failure?

I am the queen of procrastination. In a very bad way. =( I think it has been the major problem running through everything this year.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Oh yeah. The best thing about auto-immune problems is how they universally fuck you over. =) My whole body has been rather upset with me for the last few months.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Plane tickets, and my computer! And Keith's tablet.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

My parents'. And Nick's. <3 And E!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Oh, all those whiny people who don't seem to understand that sometimes you have to do what you think is right, even if it turns out you're wrong. And then you accept the consequences and move on. Your silliness does not affect me emokids; begone!

14. Where did most of your money go?

The GREs and plane tickets.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

My travels... School... Food. Lots of things.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

Take A Picture- Filter

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? I don't know if happier is exactly the right word... More liberated would be a better way to put it.
ii. thinner or fatter? Fatter. Fucking prednisone.
iii. richer or poorer? Poooooooor.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Cussing out those who deserved it. (i.e. saying what I felt)

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Hiding and worrying.

20. How will you be spending/did you spend Christmas?

In Cali! With Nick and Thea! It was excellent. =)

22. Did you fall in love in 2007?

Most definitely. And there's nothing you can do about it. <3

23. How many one-night stands?

One, I suppose.

24. What was your favourite TV programme?

It's a toss up between Buffy, SVU, T:SCC, and House. And Digimon. Love!

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?

Hate is not the right word. But yes, I definitely think less of some people than I used to.

26. What was the best book you read?

That is a hard one... I'm gonna say probably Thus Spake Zarathustra, even though I haven't finished it yet. Or A Spy In The House Of Love. Excellent.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?

KMFDM or Ooomph! Or Broadway Calls. <3333

28. What did you want and get?

A stable, mostly healthy relationship with someone on my level.

29. What did you want and not get?

NIN tickets. *cries*

30. What was your favorite film of this year?

Dark Knight was damn good, for things that came out this year. But for stuff I watched this year, Lars and the Real Girl really sticks in my mind.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

Number 19! Just went to dinner with Thea and the family; nothing major. Good times though.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Another couple weeks with Nick.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?

Older than last year. And with a little more money.

34. What kept you sane?

I'm not sure. I lost it a couple times, but I think I have a much better safety net than I did last year. My family and I get along so much better, and Nick is amazing, even when he's so far away.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

Besides the usual, I have been crushing out on Cameron and 13....

36. What political issue stirred you the most?

The election was exciting, but I didn't really get after any specific issues this year.

37. Who did you miss?

I thought I missed a lot of people, but not really. I am ready to let a lot of things go and move on; there's not really room for missing in that.

38. Who was the best new person you met?

I met so many wonderful people this year. It was an eye-opener. The best is obvious though. <3

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:

Things change, and it is not always a bad thing.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

"And now I depend on my sense of adventure,
To get through all the rough times,
'til we get back together.

When I get home, I'm up for anything."
