Why: I loved this fic, because it showed how Bilbo formed (reluctant) friendships with some of the dwarves. I really liked the Fili+Kili part and of course the part with Thorin.

Why: This one was funny and cute, where Bilbo finds dwarven harlequins in Erebor and decides to amuse himself with them. Very cute fic.

Summary: For as long as even the old Gaffer could remember there had been a wizard living in the hill at Bag End, overlooking the Shire. As wizards went, this one wasn't the wandering sort, always out to lure gentle folk out onto nasty adventures, or even the powerful kind, the sort that lived in high towers, reaching out into the ways of the world.
Why:SUPER GOOD. Bilbo is a wizard in the form of a hobbit and the rest of the story is basically like in the book, but very cleverly re-written with all the details. I also loved the growing romance between Thorin and Bilbo which was super cute and also super hot and intense with Thorin being all growly and super passionate. Definitely a favorite.

Why: So I am still enamored with fem!Bilbo and fem!Bilbo being preg, because DWOBBITS. This was super cute and sweet ficlet where Bilbo is pregnant and Thorin being acquainted with dwarven pregnancies worries about her. However, hobbits have super easy pregnancies and Bilbo even has a surprise hidden and it’s all rainbows and sunshine. Yes.

Even the Tooks haven’t the influence to hush that up, but Mad Baggins seems to have managed to silence every tongue in the Shire on that subject which would be awe-inspiring ...if not for the way he decided to go about it.
Why: This is not Mpreg. I repeat, this is NOT MPREG. And good. It’s where Hobbits are born from…the garden. And Bilbo makes himself a pair of hobbits/dwobitts, because he thought Thorin died. And then it turns out he didn’t and there are shenanigans in Erebor. I love it.
