Why: Found this lovely ficlet when I was in the thorki tag. It’s an accompanying piece to sonnss fancomic, and it’s absolutely incredible. There is already so much tension in the comic but I lovelove how this author writes those melancholic and tense scenes. Ugh, so good.

Why: This is normally not something that I go for, but oddly enough the art intrigued me. It’s…well, it’s a merman!loki and thor the pirate smut and, let’s just say it’s my guilty pleasure talking ok?

Why: This is a short, bittersweet piece where Thor and Loki fight and they they stop to admire the evening sky and the stars. It’s a little gem and oh ouch, it hurts.

Summary: Loki has a well-crafted plan to win the powerful sword Dáinsleif. Thor just wants to kill a dragon. Then they encounter a bunch of lustful elves and things suddenly become much more complicated.
Why: ok this fic, is definitely not as smutty as the summary suggests. It’s more of a plot gen fic tbh, but it’s really good and really liked how mythology was woven into the plot. Plus I thought it very in character when Loki was very much envious of Thor but he still loved him very much, and the things he endured for him. Also, I found Loki shape shifting into an otter weirdly adorable XD
Title: We Spent Our Darkest Days Howling at the Moon♥

Why: So I finally decided to read that most popular hipster fic and wow ok, it was SO GOOD. I love how there’s so many emotions and Loki has so many issues to deal with that he probably himself doesn’t understand that well. And Thor who is total sweetheart and he pains and aches for him. And then the sex is also so good.

Why: This is a mythology au with the movie characters. Thor and Loki here have a sort of weird sexually tense friendship that is so fascinating. Loki is basically himself, even if a bit more bitter and evil and the ending was both beautiful and aching.

Why: This one made me scream when I saw it and then I read it and ALL THE FEELS. It’s based on this comic and askjdasd SO PRECIOUS. I love how the voices of the kids are so true and vivid and how Loki’s emotions are just so overwhelming sometimes, even when he is barely in the fic himself.

Why: okay, people. This is ANOTHER mpreg that I’ve read and jesus christ, what have you done to me fandom? Loki is such a manipulative little shit here but Thor loves him and just asdjasflkjsdf. Also the ending was pretty damn hilarious.

Why: And some adorable genfic to end the recs! I had this saved for some time, but never got the chance to actually read it. Now I did and sdkfjskdf so cute. Teenage Thor, going to Jotunheim to hunt a boar and he finds, baby Loki. Loki is a delightful toddler but Thor is amusing and charming with the baby jotun. So adorable!
