計画停電/ Planned Power Outages
Well, we kept waiting for them today, but there were no power outages, even though they had been heavily advertised. Word is this was due to the power freed up by the trains not running.
But they're saying that tomorrow there WILL be a scheduled power outage for about 4 hours in our area. The trains in this area will be running, though my train to Numazu will not. So I'm off the hook for work. Everyone was calling to confirm this and other particulars all day.
As for the power outages, I'm hoping we get the 12 to 4 block, rather than the 6 to 10 block, because then at least we'll have that midday light. And it won't be as cold.
