Do people often disappear in droves like this?

Not generally. A similar thing happened last year, however, and I believe it wasn't coincidence. This was likely the same situation as the previous year; a two week event hosted by the Animus for their own amusement. I should have realized the similarities more quickly.

From what I hear about these Animus they're fairly driven to doing things like that. Has anything of import happened since the last time we spoke, outside of the disappearances?

The event itself was chaotic, but anything else significant I recall, would have been the Uchiha residence having been burnt down. I'm not aware of the casualties, or where they've relocated, unfortunately. I'll keep searching.

An individual by the name of Saul with an apparent grudge against Uchiha Madara, as the video seemed to imply. He's been here for a long while I believe, and was usually seen around a woman named Carmen Sandiego.

I'm not aware of much for details beyond that, unfortunately.
