[Apparently Tsunade's still here, if the golden eyes half-glaring into the PCD are any indication. Her brows are drawn together slightly, wrinkling her otherwise smooth brow.]

From what I hear over these things, apparently most of the people who showed up when I did are gone. Shinobi, report. I want to get an idea of who we still have left.

I'm still here, Tsunade-Shishou. And I know Sasuke is still here too...it might take him a while to reply. He's taking his parents' disappearance hard. Which is understandable.

Team Gai is still here as well and Anko-san is too. I haven't heard from Kakashi-sensei yet, but I would think he's still here.

Sasuke is here but both of his parents are gone. And I don't know if any of the Akatsuki members have disappeared, though we can only hope.

Other than that...I'm not sure who may or may not still be here.

Good. And we have around a week before another one of these 'events' start, if the Animus follow their pattern?

Yes, events usually happen every other week and, with the exception of a few, they generally last for one full week.

It's just never knowing what they're going to throw at us each week that's the hard part.

[She nods.] How much do we know about these Animus, anyway? Outside of them being the cause of these events?

Not as much as we'd like to know about them. They're spirits with enormous powers but they act most of the time in a child-like manner. They're unstoppable, from what I can tell.

I know Uchiha Madara attempted to kill them several months ago and not long after he attacked his body was found, mangled and torn apart, several hours later.

Maybe they aren't so bad after all, then.

It would have been better if he had stayed dead, though. He came back to life a week later, I'm not sure exactly what the price he paid for life was that time he was killed.
