(no subject)
Whoa, so no internet for 5 days felt damn good! I actually unplugged my entire computer, as well as the cable modem since Derek's computer is still hooked up.
I've been interacting with people, too, and that feels even better!
I spent Friday night entertaining my mom at my apartment, then I took her to Pitt to take the LSAT on Saturday morning. Since it was like 8 AM and I couldn't go back to sleep, I went shopping for Christmas decorations! When I picked my mom up, we returned to my apartment and decorated pine wreaths and garland. Now the apartment looks so festive!
Saturday evening, I was supposed to work on my Political Theory paper, but I fell asleep and woke up when Westfall called to ask why I wasn't at Tara's whistle party! I got dressed and got there just in time to see everyone hilariously drunk (except Brian, of course.) It was a lot of fun, and I met people who know people I know. Weird. They didn't even know a lot of the people who were there, and some chicks tried to close the door so they could do it with each other in Brian's room, but we busted down the door and laughed at them.
Westfall hugged me and told me that he loves me, and I told him that it makes me sad that he only does that when he's drunk. He swore that he really meant it, and I promised to come hang out with him so he won't be so lonely in WV. But only if he makes popcorn. : )
No, I honestly miss hanging out with them so much. I feel like things with us have come almost full circle over the past four years. I always hoped they would, because I love them so much... and thanks to drunk sincerity, I know that Westfall loves me too!
Also, I have decided that Holly needs and "Etonic" jacket like John's. That would be great.
Only 75 hours until I become even happier than I am right now... if that's even possible. <3 Derek <3
I have to write a 10 page paper now.
