Fun with Languages

Gosh, when did school get so stressful? I barely have time to even glimpse over a good fic or read anything you guys are doing these days. My apologies, I'm trying to keep up.

School is just getting worse and worse, as Boy A sort of made it official that I'm disliked. Kids were bugging me for telling on someone when another kid would've been blamed for what the first one had done, and tons more teasing for wanting to learn such a useless language like Japaneese. But life goes on.

Before I move on to a form remotely interesting (Like -te iru) I want to have a lot of verbs down, so I learned five new ones on the bus - fusegu (to defend), kiku (to listen), mamoru (to protect), tobu (to fly), and hikaru (to shine) popped up while I was looking in my book through a big list of verbs, and the whole thing, being a sign and word I already knew, was such an easy verb that I barely had to practice it to memorize it yesterday. Before I go to bed I look at some -suru verbs, as I don't know much of any but benkyou-suru (to study - or was it practice? I think it was study, but I learned it half a year ago, so...), which is only so useful.

To keep with the language theme, Spnish class was nice today. Senora Belle has been out for the last three days because of this odd program to help teachers teach other teachers (that didn't come out sounding right) that Ms. Newhard is also in. Tomorrow she'll be back, and to a very enthusiastic class - we got a sheet of adjectives today, including ones like fat, stupid, ugly, boring, etc. I believe the students will learn quickly.

Finally, I will be getting my Itsuki notebook any day now, and to say the least, I'm delighted about it! ^_^ She was very apologetic because she had wanted to have it done over a month ago and had promised to, but it could've arrived at Christmas and I would have been pleased! To make up for the time, she said she is throwing in a free gift (Oh boy, a surprise!) and generously insisted we tell her if there was anything else she could do. That's so kind, but I'm more than happy enough as it is! What a generous person!
