Ok, so last week, I ordered a new laptop (big thanks to Daniel for pointing out some things that saved me a bit more money >_> ), and to go along with it, I also ended up ordering a really nice water-proof messanger-style laptop bag from Timbuk2 (I've been wanting a messanger style one anyway for awhile.) Unfortunately, I didn't find their size comparisons very good for myself (regardless of reading the dimensions, I really need to be able to see something with stuff next to it/in it to really get a good idea of space), same with their pictures, so to make sure that I would have enough room for the laptop (which really isn't that big), plus school books, notebooks, other books, etc. I went with their large size of bag. I got the bag in today, and . . .
It is HUGE (although not comic-con "I can make a dress out of my bag or sleep in it" HUEG) , and pretty kickass. It's not monstrous, but it looks like besides being able to hold a very good amount of school books with the laptop that it'll also be able to (maybe) hold enough clothes for cons and such.
I've been wanting a better bag than just my backpack for a bit now, and I think I'll be very pleased with this one. The only thing I can say that I definitely do not like about it is that in addition to two plastic clasps to hold it closed (which are ok), it also utilizes a large amount of velcro >_< (the sound is awful, especially in quiet places like a classroom) But oh well. That's a pretty small complaint compared to how awesome the bag is so far, and it feels pretty comfortable when I wear it, which I think is the biggest thing.
